Susan Fiori has changed her medium.  She now works solely in clay.  Her inspirations come from multiple sources:  psychology, dreams, eastern spirituality, folklore, fables and musings, both daily and nocturnal.  These ideas determine her direction as she begins a sculpture.  As she has become more experienced, she has learned to work more slowly, trusting her intuition and process, staying open to surprises.  She allows the white glow of fired clay to remain dominant, using only a dusting of pastels.
